Shop Clothing is handled
separately from all other goods.
Lake Louise Ski Club will be handling Clothing once again this year.
Now is the time to start getting organized for the sale. In order
to send you the appropriate information and consignment
kit, we will need to know what your shop would like to consign.
For equipment that means approximately how
many pairs of skis, boots, poles, snowboards or miscellaneous items and
whether or not this is new or used, downhill or nordic
equipment.
Our kit contains complete instructions on how to tag and secure
the equipment.
Clothing is handled in a similar fashion.
Shops are encouraged to provide their own
staff to work alongside our volunteers during the event to advise our
customers and encourage sales.
Wednesday and Thursday evening drop-off times
are assigned to help traffic flow smoothly.
Some important points - Your kit has complete
details
- A percentage of net price after GST is retained by the sponsoring organisations
to pay our costs and raise money.
- Please Note: We MUST collect GST on your
behalf. (GST registrants will be eligible to apply for an input tax credit
on goods sold. For those with GST numbers, talk to your Ski Sale representative.)
- You have the option to have your goods sold at half price on Sunday if not
previously sold at full price.
- You have the option to donate unsold goods to charity.
- All goods are advertised as "GST Included".
- Goods sold in the Half Price Sale pay commission
on the half price that it is sold for, not full price.
- Please ensure both items of a pair are marked with the same price. In event
of discrepancy, we will sell at the lower price.
- Please ensure both halves are filled out and identical
AND READABLE on every consignment tag.
