Preparing goods for Consignment
at the New & Used Ski Sale:

• Ski Sale volunteers will be appraising all equipment and used clothing that is consigned to the Ski Sale.
  
  
• Sale appraisers have been trained by local ski shop professionals on what is considered to be unacceptable equipment or clothing.
  
  
• Goods not meeting our standards will be rejected .
  
  
• The New & Used Ski Sale, while a bargain sale, tries to serve both the public and retailers by not accepting out-of-date equipment or clothing which would be difficult to sell.
  
  
• All equipment & clothing must be complete and matched pairs as required:
  
  
  • Boots must be intact & undamaged as to all buckles, tongues and liners.
    
    
  • Skis must not be damaged and have matching serial numbers.
    
    
  • Bindings must be complete - all screws and AFD friction plates must be intact.
    
    
  • Poles must be complete & not mismatched sizes. Baskets, tips, handles & straps must be intact.
    
    
  • Clothing must have zippers, buttons and other fasteners intact and in working order.
    
  
  
• All gear should be clean and unstained - We do not want our volunteers handling unclean or soiled gear and we cannot sell it to our customers.
  
  
  • No road dirt or salt on skis, poles or bindings.
    
    
  • No old XC ski wax or klister on skis that would prevent camber tests.
    
    
  • No grit or mud on ski boots.
    
    
  • All clothing must look & smell clean with no stains inside or out.
    
  
  
  
• Please note that due to safety issues, the New & Used Ski Sale does NOT accept the following used clothing items:
  
  

  Helmets Hats Gloves Scarves

  Sweaters (except racing suit sweaters) Underwear Avalanche Transceivers
