People in our Club:
This is What Our Club is About.
The Lake Louise Ski Club (LLSC) has been serving Calgary athletes and their families since 1965. The Club offers young skiers and snowboarders the opportunity to train with talented, committed coaching staff at Lake Louise and other hills of the Rockies. Membership for the 2000-2001 season stood at approximately 125 individuals. The Club employs a Program Director who is responsible for the overall direction of the Alpine program. Other coaching staff focus on specific club programs. Funding for these positions is raised through program fees charged to individual participants, and by fundraising activities.
The Lake Louise Ski Club is a family oriented club offering ski and snowboard programs for athletes from 5 years to 18 years of age. Young athletes are introduced to skiing in the Nancy Greene program and continue on through technical development, snowboarding or ski racing programs. The club's racing programs provide competitive athletes with high quality coaching, training and racing opportunities. The club is based at the Lake Louise ski resort in Alberta.
