SNOWBOARD EQUIPMENT


  Reject Snowboards if:
  1. Any delamination is visible
  2. Tips are bent
  3. Bends, cracks or uneven flex indicates core damage
  4. Sidewall is cracked which could affect core
  5. Edges are damaged, are severely worn or are missing
  6. Bases have bad gouges or is curling. Watch for thin bases
  7. Binding holes are missing inserts for fastening bindings
  8. Ensure binding holes are not too deep to affect base
  9. Repairs have been poorly done
Reject bindings if:
  1. Bindings are not intact - all straps must be tacked in and in working order
  2. There are cracks in highbacks or footbed
  3. The inserts are stripped - pull bindings away from board and twist from right to left to inspect.
Reject Snowboard Boots if:
  1. There are tears, rips or cracks in plastic parts of boot, both inside and out.
  2. There is a missing bladder insert
  3. Boots have been customized by cutting away rubber sole or heel to lessen overhang on toe or heel.
